Joe Mansfield, the veteran sales and marketing executive who has worked with Garth
Brooks, Aerosmith, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Bruce
Springsteen and Barbra Streisand, will oversee sales and marketing for Steve
Wariner's SelecTone Records. Wariner's forthcoming release, Steal Another Day,
will be in stores on February 4.

"Joe Mansfield brings years of experience and integrity to the table," said Wariner.
"While SelecTone is a small label, our goals are big, and we feel Joe is just the
person to help us reach them."

"To have the opportunity to work with a consummate artist like Steve, who's such a
talented and respected writer, singer, player and producer, is a great pleasure," said
Mansfield. "Besides, Steve is truly one of the nicest guys in the business. When he
asked me to work this project, I jumped at the chance."

Mansfield, whose resume dates back to a stint with KMAC/KISS-FM in San Antonio
in 1962, was most recently President/CEO of Asylum Records in Nashville. Prior to
that he was a partner in Mansfield-Martinovich Associates, a company providing
consulting services for artists including Garth Brooks, Wynonna, Mark Chesnutt, and
Willie Nelson. From 1990-1992, he was vice president of marketing and sales at
Capitol Nashville/Liberty Nashville, launching Garth Brooks' multi-platinum career
while overseeing a roster that also included Tanya Tucker, Billy Dean, The Nitty Gritty
Dirt Band, Anne Murray and Chris LeDoux.

Before working in Nashville, Mansfield was vice president of marketing at Capitol
Records in Los Angeles, where he initiated successful marketing plans for Bob
Seger, Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Natalie Cole, among
others. In the early '80s he was Division vice president, Contemporary Music, for
RCA Records/New York, with a roster of such artists as Diana Ross, Jefferson
Starship, and Hall & Oates. From 1978 to 1981 he was Vice President of Marketing
at Columbia Records, which counted Chicago, Journey, Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand,
Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, and Aerosmith on its
roster. Prior to that Mansfield worked as vice president of merchandising for CBS
Records/New York, managing seven creative departments for a roster including
Meatloaf and Michael Jackson, after working his way up through CBS branch
manager positions in Atlanta and Dallas.
