Owl City Announce 2012 International Tour Dates
With a hot new Carly Rae Jepsen collaboration on his hands, Owl City's Adam Young is ready to hit the road. He's taking his band on tour starting Sept. 5 in Nashville and continuing with an international leg that runs through late November.
The Owl City tour features 23 shows at clubs in the U.S. and Canada, ending in Detroit on Oct. 7. The worldwide portion of the tour begins on Oct. 18 with a concert in Paris. Young will be promoting his upcoming fourth album 'The Midsummer Station,' which is slated to hit stores in August.
Young told MTV his new tune 'Good Time' with Jepsen was a "happy accident." He explained, "I thought, 'I'm gonna sit down and I’m gonna give this a shot … and get my friend Carly to sing on it.' The final product rarely exceeds your expectations, and this thing just kind of happened."
A fan pre-sale starts on July 11, followed by the general sale beginning July 13. Courtesy of Idolator, here's the full list of Owl City tour dates for North America and the rest of the world.
