S-Tier
S-Tier characters are the absolute best in Reverse: 1999. Ranging from support units to damage dealers, these characters can carry your team through difficult content and are typically some of the rarest units in it.
From the characters in the Tier, Centurion, An-an Lee, Bkornblume, and Medicine Pocket are the highlights, as they are the current best main DPS, buffer, debuffer, and healer in the game, respectivelly. To recap, here are all the S-Tier characters in Reverse 1999.
- Regulus
- Eternity
- Lilya
- Bkornblume
- Centurion
- Voyager
- An-an Lee
- Dikke
- Sonetto
- Medicine Pocket

- Tennant
- Melania

A-Tier
In the A-Tier we have the Reverse 1999 characters who although game-changing when placed in the right team compositions, lack that special factor that makes the S-Tiers so special. Some of them, especially Druvis, Sotheby, A Knight, and Charlie (with the right investment) can rival the S-Stars in most aspects while in their designed roles.
To recap, here are all the A-Tiers in Reverse 1999.
- A Knight
- Eagle
- Baby Blue
- Erick
- Oliver Fog
- Druvis III
- Pavia
- Sotheby
- Charlie
- Diggers
B-Tier
In the B-Tier, we have characters who either demand very specific team rotations to truly excel or who are surpassed in their roles by our A and S-Tiers. Nonetheless, they should not be underestimated, as some —such as Matilda, Satsuki, and Necrologist— can be game changers when paired with the right teammates and Psychubes.
For those who don’t have a dedicated healer, La Source can also carry even in the end-game when in the right conditions.
- Leilani
- Matilda
- Satsuki
- La Source
- Mondlicht
- Necrologist
- Twins Sleep
- X
- APPLe
- Click
- Bette
- Ms. NewBabe

C-Tier
In the C-Tier are the units who have a hard time fitting or excelling when in any Reverse: 1999 team, as even if they do their jobs well, they’re still outclassed by units from higher tiers. As you might expect, most of these characters are common 3 and 4-Stars.
- The Fool
- Rabies
- Sweetheart
- Cristallol
- Nick Bottom
- Зима
D-Tier
It hurts me to say it, but in the D-Tier we have the worst units in Reverse: 1999. The units here fail to make an impact given their sub-par passives, damage, or overall utility. Honestly, you’re better off using any other character, especially since it’s so easy to get some of the common units in higher tiers.
- Bunny Bunny
- Alien T
- Ms. Moissan
- Poltergeist
- Darley Clatter
- Door
- Mesmer Jr.
- Ms. Rad
- Sputnik
- TTT
- John Titor
- ONiON
