Zayn Malik has covered up his tattoo of Perrie Edwards
Zayn Malik appears to have covered up his tattoo of former fiancée Perrie Edwards with a new inking. When the singer's current girlfriend Gigi Hadid shared a snap of the 23-year-old on Snapchat, eagle-eyed fans quickly noted that there were new inkings peeking out from under his T-shirt.

Gigi posted the candid photo as Zayn cooked fried chicken for the pair, who enjoyed a night in. Concentrated on cooking, the former One Direction singer looks effortlessly cool in a black T-shirt and matching jeans as he prepares the couple's meal.
While Zayn had previously been rocking a tattoo tribute to Perrie with a cartoon version of her on his bicep, his short-sleeved top revealed a few new tattoos surrounding it, prompting speculation that he has gone for a completely new design to cover the artwork.
The singer previously had an inking done in honour of the Little Mix star on his arm
The hitmaker initially had the inking done in 2013 when he was engaged to Perrie, turning to tattoo artist John James Garancheski III to create the artwork.
"He showed me a picture of her and I was like 'That's a cute girl.' So the design came from that," John told at the time. "He was like 'Yeah, that's my girlfriend,' and I was like 'Ah, that's cool.' As I was tattooing him we talked a lot about that."

Zayn and Perrie began dating in early 2012, and got engaged in August 2013 when the heartthrob proposed to the Little Mix singer with a glittering diamond ring. Often sharing adorable selfies together on social media, the couple shocked fans in August 2015 when it was revealed that they had chosen to end their engagement, with reports that Perrie was "devastated" by the split.

"She's been putting on a brave face as Little Mix have had promotion to do, but she's obviously devastated," a source told magazine. "Perrie's being supported by her bandmates, but she's really in pieces about this."
Zayn later addressed speculation that he had called time on their relationship via a text message. "I love her a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over four years like that," he told magazine. "She knows that, I know that, and the public should know as well."
The singer refused to reveal the reason why he broke their engagement, adding: "I don't want to explain why or what I did, I just want the public to know I didn't do that."
